First priority for tree health & good production is to correct soil nutrient deficiencies & imbalances. A good soil test is needed if you don't have a recent one.
The optimum time to have a leaf analysis test is between January-February.

A - Leaf analysis is used to monitor plant nutrients & identify foliar fertilisers needed to supplement the soil fertility program.

The standard method for sampling Olives is to take 4 leaves per tree from 25 trees of the same cultivar. Sample fully-expanded basal to mid-shoot leaves from the latest growth. The lab prefers approx. 200 gms fresh weight, so you may need more leaves if they are undersize.

(a) payment of $88.00 (incl.GST) per sample.
(b) name, postal address, contact details (phone, fax, email)
(c) sample ID (e.g. block name) for each sample
I will post to you:- sample bag(s), sampling & posting instructions, sample analysis request form, & receipt for payment. If I have your sample details, I can send you a completed sample analysis request form to send to the lab with your samples.
Upon receipt of test results, I will prepare an interpretation and foliar fertiliser program for each sample.
Note: If you want a soil fertility improvement program, a soil analysis is needed. Details available on request.
